our programs

  • Classroom Innovation Grant

Research shows that an inspiring teacher is the most important school-related factor influencing student achievement. Help us give educators a chance to pilot a new idea or to supplement something inspiring that they are already doing in the classroom with our Classroom Innovation Grant!

  • Back2Basics hybrid Pantry

Back2Basics is a hybrid pantry program that was established in the 2020-2021 school year to ensure that students who need help with basic needs receive support. The Hybrid Pantry gives students basic necessities such as food, toiletry items, shoes, clothing, school supplies, and a helping hand.

  • Operation Hug-A-Hero

Operation Hug-A-Hero provides students with a deployed parent a life-size standing poster or a 17-inch pillow doll with a voice recorder that the parent can use to record a special message. MAFB is currently experiencing a large deployment, making this program a high demand.

Continued Funding

  • Planned Giving

Make a planned gift through your will, stocks and bonds, real estate, personal property, life insurance policy, charitable gift annuity, or by utilizing the North Dakota Tax Credit program. Many of our Endowments are created to provide scholarships to graduates who want to continue their education, support for teachers wishing to try new and innovative ideas in the classroom, and to preserve, promote and enhance the quality of education. For more information on planned giving, give us a call at (701)-857-4555 or email us at minotfoundation@gmail.com

  • Endowments

The dollars held in endowment funds generate interest and dividend income that may be used to support scholarships, grants, critical needs for students, and other special initiatives by providing a permanent ongoing source of revenue. The Minot Public School Foundation administers several endowed funds. These funds are made available through investment income from endowments established by people just like you who wish to honor a loved one or wish to recognize someone who has made a difference in their lives. These established endowments are not just for a year, a decade, or a generation, but continue in perpetuity. Creating a scholarship endowment makes a lasting impact for our students to go on and further their education. For more information on endowments, give us a call at (701)-857-4555 or email us at minotfoundation@gmail.com
